Why Our Pub is Great

Poppy Fields in Maidstone is named for the wild poppies that flower in the fields of Kent every year. We are a child-friendly pub on the edge of Maidstone with a great outdoor play area right next to a beautiful terrace. Indoors, you’ll find another play area for the under 5s with a fascinating bead maze that will keep them entertained while you savour a smooth real ale or a glass of wine.

Rotisserie chicken is at the core of what we do. Fresh, succulent, and fantastically crispy chicken is the star of traditional and contemporary roast-style dinners, curries, salads, burgers, and pies. Make your plate perfect by dressing it up, swapping sides, or switching one kind of potato for another. The same goes for puddings.
